Reflo Company Ltd has embarked on a market activation tour in the Central Region to promote female hygiene and connect with customers.

The tour, which began in Swedru, was hailed as an experience worth remembering by the Reflo Company team. “We were thrilled to see how much our brand is loved and appreciated by the people of Swedru,” said Rebecca Osam, CEO of Reflo Company Ltd. “It was a humbling experience and a testament to our commitment to providing excellent products and services that promote female health and wellbeing.”

The team interacted with market women, traders, and customers, listening to their feedback and sharing information about Reflo Company’s sanitary pads.

“We are excited to connect with our customers in the Central Region and show our appreciation for their loyalty,” said Mrs. Osam. “Our goal is to provide sanitary pads that meet the needs of our customers, and this tour is an opportunity for us to hear their concerns and suggestions firsthand.”

Reflo Company Ltd’s market activation tour is part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its relationship with customers and demonstrate its commitment to promoting female hygiene and wellbeing in Ghana.

Reflo Company Ltd, in partnership with The Florence Mensah Foundation, has officially completed its landmark “Helping 1000 Girls to Embrace Their Flow initiative, with the final round of sanitary pad distributions carried out in schools in Ashaiman, Nima and Assin Ochiso to commemorate Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025.

Launched in March 2024, the project was a bold commitment to support 1,000 deprived girls with a full year’s supply of high-quality sanitary pads and menstrual health education. One year on, the goal has been achieved — with 1,000 girls now better equipped to manage their menstrual health with dignity and confidence.

Beneficiaries of the project spanned across key communities and schools, including: Assin Ochiso D/A Basic School, Assin Ochiso Heritage Academy, Assin Hasowode D/A Basic School, Kedzi Havedzi A.M.E. Zion Basic School (Volta Region), Ashaiman No. 5B Basic School, Ashaiman No. 4 JHS and Nima Basic School.

The impact of the project extended far beyond distributing sanitary pads. Through school engagements, open conversations and hands-on educational sessions, the Foundation addressed long-standing stigma, corrected misconceptions and empowered young girls to approach their menstrual cycles with confidence, pride and self-assurance.

At the closing ceremony, Ms. Rebecca Osam, CEO of Reflo Company Ltd., remarked:

“Today, as we close this chapter, we are not just ending a project. We are celebrating a milestone — one that signifies progress, sparks awareness, inspires dialogue and lays the foundation for lasting change. To our brilliant young girls, you are strong, you are capable and you are unstoppable. And to everyone gathered here, let us not stop here. Let us continue to support, educate and build a community where our girls can thrive without fear, shame or judgment.”

With the “1000 Girls” project now complete, both Reflo Company Ltd and The Florence Mensah Foundation are urging government agencies, corporate organisations, NGOs and development partners to help scale the initiative nationally, reaching more underserved girls in vulnerable communities.

The success of this project is not just a milestone — it’s a call to action. A call to invest in menstrual equity. A call to shape a future where no girl’s education or dignity is compromised by her period.
