Reflo Company Ltd continues to demonstrate its dedication to corporate social responsibility by collaborating with the Florence Mensah Foundation. Together, they marked the successful completion of the “Helping 1000 Girls to Embrace Their Flow” initiative, an impactful project aimed at combating period poverty. This initiative provided 300 girls in Keta Kedzi Basic School with a steady, year-round supply of sanitary pads, ensuring they can stay in school and focus on their education.

This second visit to Keta delivered another six-month supply of sanitary pads, following an earlier six-month distribution. The initiative has been pivotal in dispelling menstrual stigma, providing critical educational resources and ensuring young girls have the sanitary products they need. The event marked the project’s completion, drawing community leaders, educators, parents and the young beneficiaries together to celebrate its success.

The CEO of Reflo Company Ltd, Ms. Rebecca Osam, expressed deep gratitude to all who supported the project, including Springfield Ltd, foundation staff and generous donors. “To our girls here in Keta, I want you to know that you are capable, outstanding and can achieve greatness. Your menstrual cycle is a symbol of your strength and womanhood, and it should never hold you back. Embrace it with pride and let it remind you of your incredible potential,” she said. Togbi Joachim Acolatsey V also encouraged other organisations to follow this example, while beneficiaries voiced their heartfelt appreciation.

Reflo Company Ltd’s contributions were essential to the project’s success. By backing both the distribution of sanitary pads to 300 girls and the educational workshops on menstrual health, the company has strengthened its commitment to corporate social responsibility. This partnership highlights Reflo’s dedication to ensuring every girl has the resources needed to remain confident and focused on her education.

Looking forward, Reflo Company Ltd remains dedicated to supporting the community well-being by ensuring consistent access to quality menstrual products and promoting menstrual health education through sustained partnerships and initiatives.
